Microsoft Recognition
I’Anson Wins Microsoft EMEA "Overall Excellence Award"
Outstanding business success and customer satisfaction
Vying with the expertise of large companies in Europe, the
Middle East and Africa (EMEA) across the entire mainstream
commercial spectrum, including the BMW Group, Toyota and Endsleigh
Insurance, Yorkshire-based I'Anson Brothers has deservedly stepped
into the international limelight with a high profile win in the
Microsoft 2006 Convergence EMEA Customer Awards, bringing home the
'Overall Excellence Award' in recognition of its use of Microsoft
Business Solutions products to significantly improve business
performance, leading to "outstanding business success and customer
satisfaction."
One of the UK's most successful specialist suppliers of farm
feeds, Micronized ingredients and horse feeds from its
manufacturing base in Masham, with customers in 26 countries
worldwide, I'Anson Brothers is a fourth generation family business
founded in 1900. The company was previously managed using a typical
UK agri-business IT platform and decided to invest in Microsoft's
Dynamics™ AX business management solution as the future of not just
business development, but also Customer Relationship Management
(CRM).
Amazing efforts in multiple customer award categories
Management, staff, customers and suppliers are already seeing
benefits of this international award-winning strategy that include
reducing the timescale of new product development and introduction
to the marketplace, ongoing cost controls and improved customer
service at every level. As the company grows, this has meant not
only expanding the purchase of quality raw materials grown by
farmers in the region and increasing sales of high-specification,
cost effective feeds to livestock producers and horseowners, but
also significant developments in the volume of Micronized
ingredients supplied to specialist feed compounders across the
UK.
The Microsoft EMEA Awards Presentation took place during the
Microsoft 2006 Convergence EMEA conference in Munich, Germany and
recognised I'Anson as the 'best of the best', measured in terms of
innovation, "amazing efforts in multiple customer award categories"
and overall outstanding achievement.

Accepting the award, I'Anson company chairman Chris I'Anson
said, "This is a celebration of everything that everyone at I'Anson
works for. It's an award that I accepted on behalf of everyone who
makes I'Anson what it is. Our investment in this innovative
technology will not only support future commitments in research and
development, but also on-going improvements to every aspect of our
customer service. We couldn't be more proud of what everyone in the
company has achieved."
