Proud of our Past, Excited by our Future
COVID-19 Update

I’Anson Bros Ltd continues to be fully operational in the manufacture and supply of quality animal feeds. We are closely following advice given by the Government and Public Health England to protect the safety of both our staff and customers through this unprecedented time. We have conducted thorough risk assessments of all aspects of the business and have put controls in place to minimise risk.

We review our risk assessments and protocols daily, and update our procedures based on further guidance from the authorities.

General

All of our staff are classified as key workers and the Mill and Warehouses continue to remain open and fully functioning. Our offices are operating with minimal staff along with employees working from home where possible. Farm visits by members of our Sales Team are currently suspended however your Representative can still be contacted in the usual way.

We have restricted access to our sites and only visitors and contractors essential to the business are permitted.

Where social distancing cannot be achieved additional measures have been put into place including the use of Perspex screen and face coverings.

We have introduced stringent hygiene procedures and increased the frequency of cleaning, especially at common touch points (doors, handrails, forklift trucks).

Hand sanitiser must be used before entering any buildings. Hands must be washed for a minimum of 20 seconds on arrival and whenever possible throughout the day, before and after breaks, and on departure.

Feed Deliveries

Place your order as usual with either your Sales Representative or by calling the Office on 01765 689332. We ask that detailed delivery points instructions are given at the point of ordering.

Please advise us if you or anyone else on the farm is in self isolation or has symptoms of COVID-19, and we ask that if there are changes to people’s health between ordering and delivery that we are informed.

Our drivers will maintain a two-metre distance from any personnel upon arrival on farm.

Additional training has been given to our drivers based on specific guidance from the Road Haulage Association and they have been provided with appropriate PPE, sanitiser and cleaning products.

Procedures are in place to ensure regular cleaning and disinfection of cabs and frequently touched external areas of vehicles.
