COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

A unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, talented and experienced sales, marketing and business development professional to take up the newly created post of Commercial Director at one of the UK's leading feed manufacturers with an extensive customer base at home and overseas.

I'Anson Bros Ltd is a dynamic, family owned and managed business that is close to completing the ground-breaking development of a new, £multi-million 200,000+ tonnes capacity feedmill, the most modern and technologically advanced in the UK. It is set to more than double capacity,  drive the development of new products, open up additional, non-core market sectors and create attractive commercial opportunities.

The company has a long record of innovation and for producing high quality, award-winning feed products for the farm, equine, pet and human food sectors, supplying farmers around the UK and exporting it's equine feeds to more than 40 countries world-wide.

As part of a new senior management structure designed to capitalise on this exciting development, the biggest financial investment in the company's 120+ year history, it is now seeking an outstanding and exceptional individual with the drive, ambition and personality to fulfil the pivotal role of Commercial Director.

The successful applicant, who will report to the Managing Director, will have:-

  • A track record for developing and implementing successful sales, marketing and business development strategies

  • Highly polished communications skills and the flare and charisma to build, lead and inspire talented sales teams

  • Strong negotiating skills with a track record of successful dealmaking

  • A passion for new ideas and innovative thinking

  • The experience to nurture and grow existing customer and trade relations

  • The ability to identify and develop new, non-core product/market sector opportunities

  • The expertise to set profitable pricing structures, develop budgets and deliver financial targets 

  • The aptitude to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business

  • A willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required

Whilst the business is focussed on farm, equine and pet, expanding into other areas is attractive so a broad knowledge of the Feed sector is an advantage. We want to hear from individuals with new ideas, fresh thinking and proven commercial experience who believe they can make a success of the role.

Production Operative (Shifts) £30,000+

Working as part of a team in our modern, hygienic production facility you will be responsible for the manufacture and packaging of our highly successful range of animal feed products, produced on our fully automated production lines. Willing to work overtime and shifts, as part of our forward thinking company there is potential for the right candidate to progress within.
