Celebrating 125 Years of I’Anson Bros Ltd
125 years is a long time in farming. Seasons change, generations grow, and new ideas take root. But one thing has never changed for I’Anson Bros: our belief that quality feed starts with good people, honest values, and a deep respect for the land we’re lucky enough to call home.
Now into our 5th generation, we remain an independent family business with our roots firmly in Yorkshire soil - working with farmers, trusted by farmers, and committed to producing quality feed made with care.
As we celebrate our 125 year anniversary, we’re not just looking back - we’re celebrating the family spirit and community that have carried us from a small shop on Masham marketplace in 1900, to operating out of two mills and supplying animal feed of the highest quality across the globe. Five Generations of Family Pride, each adding their own innovation, investment and heart - from expanding the product range to building state-of-the-art facilities, including our new mill at Dalton.
While we’re proud of our heritage, we’ve never stood still. Over the years we’ve continued to evolve by embracing technology, strengthening sustainability commitments, and developing feeds trusted by farmers, horse owners and pet lovers across the country.
Our customers’ needs change, so we change with them. But the principles that defined I’Anson in 1900 still define us now.
To celebrate this special anniversary, we thought it was the perfect moment to refresh the way we share our story. We’re delighted to introduce our brand-new I’Anson website - cleaner, clearer and designed to make it easier to explore our feeds, our history and the people behind the business.
Whether you’re looking to discover our high-quality animal feeds, learn more about where we’ve come from, or simply keep up with what’s new at I’Anson, this updated site is now your home for it all.
And if you’d like to dive deeper into our heritage, we’ve recently compiled a full written history for our 125-year celebration.
